I have to say evil twin brother since the MashUp Show never encouraged their listeners to drink.. at least as far as I can remember. ![]()

Berlin Carnival had a big chune this year with “Was feierst du???” by our homies Backyardloops. Released on the soca label Faluma.
The video has nuff footage our truck at the Karneval – der – Kulturen parade two weeks ago in Berlin. Another proof that the Yard/Escobar float with Scrappy, Mista Vybes, MashUp Crew, Threeks, Barney Millah, Soca Revolution and Jam Masters was a big success.
More footage from the carnival: here
Here is a video of the Berlin Carnival KdK 2009.. MashUp Crew was with the Purple Explosion float and on the TnT Masqueraders truck. More footage will be posted soon:
Don’t miss out this great event the night before we go on the road at Berlin Carnival 2009.

JR Decker compiled a nice mix with tunes of the last 12 month plus some classics. Starting with HipHop, the mix moves on to Baile Funk, 80s Electrofunk, Bmore & other electronic music. Call it whatever you want, JR Decker likes to call it “Future Bass” or “International Ghetto”.
JR Decker is a former part of Soulforce crew who moved to Leeds/UK and now entertains as a solo DJ.

The previously mentioned Day and Night Scrilla Dubstep RMX was featured on several blogs in the blogosphere:
Salacioussound, The Coolest Out, Pimps Run Free and Dat New Cudi. Some DJ from Lithuania already dropped that tune on a party.
Thanks for sharing and spread the love! Don’t forget to grab our feed or twitter to stay updated.
There will be no MashUp Show in the coming weeks. We might post be some occational podcasts, so keep updated.
The good news is: we are working on a new live project and do a lot of production work for that. Check out Danny Scrilla’s new dubstep ep meanwhile..
New tracks on fairtilizer by MashUp Crew producer Danny Scrilla:
“Hail to the king” is a reggae influenced dubstep track which is going to be released on Danny Scrilla’s debut-ep this February.
“Wine Funky” is a funky remix of Destra’s hit ‘Wine it’.
Give it a try – add it, comment it, spread it!
Welcome to the MashUp Show weblog.. our old site and archive (till 2008) is still located here.
